The GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation) approach is a system of grading the quality of the underlying evidence, and also a systematic and transparent process for developing recommendations (based on that evidence) for clinical practice, and indicating the strength of those recommendations.
We call for a "GRADE planet", considering that no reality can be "great" if we deny the achievements of humanity, knowledge, science, logic, kindness, human rights, and universal access to health care. GRADE belongs to a planet-wide community in which science is respected, evidence is desired, doubt is welcome, and where caring for people’s lives, well-being, and health while respecting their values is a mission. There are some moral values that we would like to see become universal values, and the absolute necessity of considering the evidence and evaluating its strength is one of them.
